Quiet day on The View today- they’ve agreed to have a nice friendly day in honor of Rosie’s birthday.
On Idol:
Ongoing discussion about how and why 17 year old Sanjaya remains. The crying girl says it all.
Criticizing 12 year old girls for voting for this pop idol wannabe is like criticizing bleeding heart liberals for loving Howard Dean. Their frame of reference is limited to their personal life experience. The more you try to reason with them and explain the error of their ways, the more they dig in their heels. Only time and life experience can save them, and us, from their emotionally driven decision-making. American Idol is a great example of why we deny the vote to most teenagers.
On Yesterday’s Infighting:
Apparently, a lot of people were worried after yesterday’s slap down between Rosie “Elizabeth-you can’t blather” O’Donnell vs. Elizabeth “Can’t we talk Facts” Hasselback.
Rest assured the two remain good friends, despite Elizabeth’s inability to accept Rosie’s viewpoints. They instant messaged their way through the day yesterday. It’s all good. I definitely can feel the love.
Again w/ the compliments about the amazing documentary by Rory Kennedy: Amazingly biased; amazingly incoherent; amazingly disrespectful to the men and women who valiantly serve our country…
